Deb Starkey

Deb is a connector, motivator, and ultimate encourager, passionate about inspiring others to be intentional to live their best life. She was certified as a mindset confidence coach in 2017 after over two decades of experience supporting women as a Mary Kay Sales Director. With intuition and authenticity, she loves engaging with women in business to help them tap into their strengths.

Though Deb grew up in a small town in Oregon and is not a native, she got here as soon as she could. She received her degree in Communication Arts: Public Relations and Political Science from Regis University and fell in love with Colorado. She has raised her two daughters in Golden for the past 22 years and lives here with her 15-year-old Goldendoodle, Paxton. Her motto is “I’ve never met a stranger, just a friend I haven’t met yet”. 

Inspired by her Mom’s commitment to the community, Deb became a professional volunteer helping out at her daughters’ schools and various organizations in the community. She has since stayed involved in the Golden/Colorado area with PTA, the Arvada Chamber, Lutheran Hospital, Epic Experience, and Golden Women in Business (GWiB) to name a few. She was honored to receive the first GWiB Helen Ferrell Berthoud Community Service Award in 2021. Deb has been a member of GWiB since its inception and is excited about her new role as President.
