GWiB’s Book Club March 2021

Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 8:30am-9:30am

Another Breakfast Book Club!

We're going to be discussing The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown (an oldie but a goodie).

We've been in COVID for a year so it's probably about time to remind us we need to cut ourselves some slack. If anyone already loves this book, feel free to volunteer to lead the club session.

This is going to be a St Paddy's Day book club! I have no Irish heritage (that I know of), but I know Americans love St Paddy's Day so feel free to wear green!

Zoom details below.

"A motivational and inspiring guide to wholehearted living, rather than just the average self-help book, with this groundbreaking work Brené Brown, Ph.D., bolsters the self-esteem and personal development process through her characteristic heartfelt, honest storytelling. With original research and plenty of encouragement, she explores the psychology of releasing our definitions of an “imperfect” life and embracing living authentically. Brown’s “ten guideposts” are benchmarks for authenticity that can help anyone establish a practice for a life of honest beauty—a perfectly imperfect life."

What is the GWiB’s Book Club?

GWiB’s Book Club is a great place for book lovers and those wanting to grow in their knowledge and understanding of a diverse set of topics. One book is chosen per month among many topics. Most topics are relevant to women business owners. Women join for an hour and a half to discuss the book. If you don’t have a chance to read the book, no problem. You can join us and listen in!

If you would like to dive more deeply into personal and business development while spending quality time with like-minded women, the GWiB Book Club is your place!
