GWiB’s Book Club May 2021

Thursday, May 13th, 2021 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

This month I'm shaking it up a bit with a lunchtime session! Still on Zoom though.

In the spirit of trying to find a bit of joy in the world, here is a whole book on it!

The Book of Joy by Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, Douglas Carlton Abrams

"In April 2015, Archbishop Tutu traveled to the Dalai Lama's home in Dharamsala, India, to celebrate His Holiness's eightieth birthday and to create what they hoped would be a gift for others. They looked back on their long lives to answer a single burning question: How do we find joy in the face of life's inevitable suffering?"

Maybe this book will have some of the answers!

What is the GWiB’s Book Club?

GWiB’s Book Club is a great place for book lovers and those wanting to grow in their knowledge and understanding of a diverse set of topics. One book is chosen per month among many topics. Most topics are relevant to women business owners. Women join for an hour and a half to discuss the book. If you don’t have a chance to read the book, no problem. You can join us and listen in!

If you would like to dive more deeply into personal and business development while spending quality time with like-minded women, the GWiB Book Club is your place!
