Book for October: Rising Strong by Brené Brown

It's been a tough old year and this book is a great one for helping you get back on your feet.

"The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough often enough, we will fall. The author of Daring Greatly and The Gifts of Imperfection tells us what it takes to get back up, and how owning our stories of disappointment, failure, and heartbreak gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle, Brené Brown writes, can be our greatest call to courage, and rising strong our clearest path to deeper meaning, wisdom, and hope."

Three questions I want you to think about as you read – or if you don’t have time to read it, think about your own life. We’ll be talking about failing, fear of failure and resilience.
- When was a time when you, or someone close to you tried to do something that didn’t work out?
- What was your/their initial reaction?
- How did you/they get back on their feet?
