Diamond Members join us to celebrate GWIB! Celebrate yourselves, our organization and show appreciation for our GEM award winners!
Footprints at Fossil Trace will host GWIB's special event, which will kick off at 5pm with a Cash Bar and delicious food stations of Denver Style Street Tacos, Southwest Salad and Assorted Desserts. We have accommodated gluten-free and vegan choices. Lemonade and ice Tea are complimentary.
We will find our seats at 6pm to enjoy the Awards Banquet and Program.

Our GEM Awards showcase women who stand out in our GWIB community. Two awards are available each year: the Eliza Boyd West Community Leadership Award and the Helen Ferrell Berthoud Community Service Award. Additionally, Lora Engesser will present a Founders Award.

Keynote speaker: Abby George from Barrels & Bottles Brewery
Abby & her husband (Zach) of 16 years moved to Colorado in March 2012 to live the Rocky Mountain high and to open a business, after devoting 10 years of their lives to military service. Zach served in the United States Marines for 10 years and Abby worked as a civilian for the military in various capacities for over 10 years. In Sept 2013, they opened Barrels & Bottles Brewery on 12th St in Golden. After 5 years, they were able to purchase a building on S. Golden Rd to have a larger and permanent location for B&B and opened their Camp George West location in May 2020. Now in their 11th year of business. When not at work or doing work at home, Abby loves to play with her 2 pups, sip on wine and take long walks/hikes.
